Hardy planters is a small, independent, family run business nestled in the heart of Thomas Hardy's Wessex. We produce softwood and hardwood planters and furniture, selling nationwide and locally across neighbouring counties of Dorset, Somerset, Wiltshire and Devon.

 

Hardy Planters was formed as a result of our mutual passion for all things wood, with a combined experienced of over 30 years in the timber trade and our innate desire to create elegant and long lasting products.

 

Hardy planters aim to become a market leader producing high end, artisanal timber garden furniture and planters, at an affordable price.

 

All Hardy products are hand built, with concealed fixings, using traditional preservation techniques, such as our bespoke 'Yakisugi' technique, alongside contemporary methods for promoting the natural vibrancy and colour of the original timber.
